September Recipes
Seasonal recipes for the month September. Days are getting shorter, but harvest is in full swing. This is the time for pickling, making jam and making chutney. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free recipes are all there!

Anti-inflammatory Curry
Courtesy of Viridian. This curry contains lots of anti-inflammatory ingredients, healthy seasonal vegetables and lots of taste. Spinach is available from end of April until end of October, so when you make this curry in these months it has a lower environmental impact.

Beetroot Hummus
Hummus or houmous is made with chickpeas and tahini. It is a very healthy side dish which can be served with seasonal vegetables and bread of all sorts.

Chard Oven Dish
This seasonal recipe uses chard, but you can substitute it with spinach. Both should be available in September. Eggs are a perfect substitute to meat.
