Oat & Spelt Cookies
Cookies made without sugar, but with lots of dried fruit!
Another recipe given to us by our customer, Ingrid.
Preparation
Cream butter with apple/pear spread
Mix in all dry ingredients and then stir in dried fruit/nuts/seeds
Place a small dessert spoon/big tea spoon sized portion of the mixture on a greased baking sheet allowing room for spreading
Bake for about 10mins on 160C in a Fan oven
Allow biscuits to cool on baking tray to cool/firm before moving to a wire rack

Ingredients
- 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 100g of apple/pear spread
- 1tsp ground mixed spice
- 25-50g raisins or other dried fruits
- 25g flaked almonds/nuts &/or mixed seeds
- 50g porridge oats
- 75g butter
- 75g wholemeal spelt flour
